Step 1 – Find #newbies channels

1. Once you have accessed Midjourney Discord server, look for the #newbies channels on the side panel.
2. These are the channels where you can start practicing your Midjourney prompts.

Step 2 – Imagine: your first image creation

1. Start your prompt by typing /imagine prompt
2. Add a description of the image you want to create. Type in any word you would or a sentence you would think of
3. Press “return” and wait
4. The image will slowly generate and you will see the result

Step 3 – View your image creation

1. Midjourney will take some time to process the job of your image creation
2. Four options of the cute little dinosaur will be shown
3. You should find your image inside the channel. It might not be visible right away since a lot of other people are generating images at the same time
4. IF YOU CAN’T SEE YOUR IMAGE, IT IS FINE. You can skip this step and move to the next section: Join Workshop Discord Server
5. Click on the image to view it

⚠️ You might have some difficulties to find your image creation as they are too many people on the Midjourney Discord server trying to generate images at the same time.

The best thing to do is to join our private Discord server that has been created especially for this workshop.
